Cured-in-place Pipe

Columbus Metropolitan Area’s Top Sewer and Pipe Maintenance Service

Sewer and pipe repairs like CIPP lining can extend the life of damaged sewer or water pipelines by up to 100 years without digging up yards or streets. At Titan Plumbing & Drains, our cured-in-place pipe method fixes cracks, leaks, and root damage from within, saving time, money, and mess.

Cured-in-place Pipe Rehabilitation

Our CIPP process uses a resin-soaked liner that’s inserted into the broken pipe, then cured with hot water, steam, or UV light. This creates a new, seamless pipe inside the old one. The result:

  • Minimal disruption—no digging, just small access points like manholes
  • Quick installation—liners are inserted and cured in a day for many pipelines
  • Strong structure—the new liner can be 2 to 4× stronger than the original pipe and lasts decades
  • Eco-friendly—lower carbon footprint with less excavation, transport, and waste

Sewer and Pipe Lining

Whether it’s a stormwater or sewer system, CIPP adapts to different pipe sizes and shapes, even pipes with bends or lateral connections. We inspect first using video and electro-scan tools, then reline damaged sections with UV or hot water methods. This preserves landscaping, streets, and your daily routine.

Frequently Asked Questions

As a Sewer and Pipe Repair Specialist, do You Recommend Sliplining?

Sliplining adds a smaller pipe inside the old one, but it shrinks the internal flow space. We prefer CIPP, which maintains full pipe diameter, restores strength, and handles bends and branches better.

We normally use polyester or vinyl ester resins in felt liners—proven, durable materials. For special needs, we offer epoxy liners and fiberglass-enhanced liners. We can discuss advanced materials on a case-by-case basis.

Sprayed-in-place (SIPP) is good for patching small holes but can't line full lengths of pipe. For whole-pipe repairs, we choose CIPP for complete coverage and structural integrity.

Pipe bursting remains common for large-diameter or severely collapsed lines. For most sewer lines, Titan prefers CIPP lining first—unless the pipe is too damaged, in which case pipe bursting is still a solid option.

Pipe ramming still has its place, especially under railways or roadways. But for sewer and service lines, CIPP is more efficient—less disruptive, faster, and better suited for residential or commercial projects.
